Order & Round Confirmation: Your order confirmation is automatic, but your actual delivery date is always planned and assigned directly by Martin. We arrange our delivery runs carefully around local orders to pass the full transport savings straight back to our neighbours.
To keep our hand-stacking service free, our delivery days remain flexible. As soon as your local delivery round has been mapped out for the week, Martin will reach out to you directly via text or email to confirm your exact delivery day and arrival window.

- Standard Orders: Usually delivered within 2–5 working days on your scheduled regional round.

- Winter Runs: We have a century of winter experience. We occasionally operate on Saturdays during extreme cold snaps to ensure no local hearth runs cold.
The Larkins Stacking Service: Included as Standard
At Larkins Fuel Merchants, we have been perfecting local delivery for over 100 years. We do not just drop your order at the kerb; we provide our hand-stacking service as standard:
- Hand-Stacked Individual Bags: We shoulder every 25kg bag of coal, logs, or water salt and carry them cleanly right into your shed, garage, or utility room so you do not have to lift a finger.
- Unattended Drops: No need to stay in! If our drivers have clear, safe property access, we will stack your fuel exactly where you need it and leave a secure delivery note behind.
- Bunker-Ready Service: If you prefer your coal stored loose, we can empty the bags directly into your bunker or fuel store, keeping your property tidy and your hands clean.
- 📦 Bulk Bag Delivery (Driveway Drop): For our 1.2m³ and 1.6m³ Bulk Bags, we provide a clean, driveway-safe drop. These land standing completely upright via our specialised tipper trucks. Note: Bulk Bags are delivered as a complete unit and are not hand-stacked or emptied out loose. For our full stacking service, please choose our individual bag options at checkout.
- Narrow Access Specialists: Many of our neighbours live in historic cottages or narrow residential closes. We use specialised 3.5-tonne nimble trucks specifically chosen to navigate the tight lanes and cottage drives of Norfolk and Suffolk that larger supermarket vans or HGV couriers simply cannot reach.
